All chairs are made in our Cerritos, California factory and, with an appointment, you are welcome to try our chairs here. Please keep in mind that all chairs are custom-built to order, and it is very unlikely we will have all designs ready for you to try. The majority of our distributors are online-only. This is why we offer a risk-free 14-day money back guarantee (less shipping).
Where can I purchase an ERA Office Chair?
We have a wonderful, dedicated group of online retailers across the USA who proudly sell our chairs. We do not sell direct to consumers.
What is the warranty?
The frame and pneumatic cylinder are warranted for life. Other parts vary, and the full warranty can be viewed here. Please keep in mind that shipping costs are not part of the warranty or return policy. Customer must pay all applicable shipping fees.
what is the weight capacity?
Depending on the model, the weight capacity is no less than 400lbs. Please see each individual chair for the listed weight capacity.

Yes! Each component in every ERA Office Chair is 24/7 intensive-use rated. ERA Office Chairs are used an approved by many great American 24/7 facilities including police, fire, 911, and emergency response centers.
do era office chairs ever go on sale?
Our distributors do have special seasonal sales and promotions on many of their items, and generally ERA Office Chairs are a part of their sales. These sales vary in length and discount percentage, and may require a coupon code.
I’m buying a large volume of chairs—does ERA Office Chairs offer volume discounts?
Certain distributors do offer volume discounts! Be sure to inquire about a volume discount before making your ERA Office Chair purchase.
does era office chairs charge sales tax?
Depending on the location of your distributor, you may be subject to pay sales tax. Please see individual distributors’ policies prior to purchase.
does era office chairs charge shipping?
Many distributors offer free shipping! You may need to pay an additional fee if you’re having your order ship to a non-commercial location like a police station, house, apartment, or anywhere else that would be considered “limited access,” or any places large trucks have difficulties in.
does era office chairs ship outside the usa?
Generally, no, but certain distributors may be willing to make special international shipping arrangements, but you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the shipping, including any taxes or fees associated with international shipping. You'll also be responsible for any damage due to international shipping. Once the shipment leaves our dock, it becomes your responsibility.
how are era office chairs shipped?
Because of their size, ERA Office Chairs ship on freight liners. Each ERA Office Chair is carefully assembled, tested, and packaged. It is boxed on a pallet, and shipped fully assembled. Simply un-box, unwrap, and your ERA Office Chair is ready for immediate enjoyment!
can i pick up my era office chair instead of shipping it?
If you’re local to the Cerritos, California area, yes! We welcome pick-ups. However please note that due to the size of the chairs, they won’t fit in most cars. Be prepared to bring a pick-up truck or van, and be sure to let your distributor at time of purchase know that you plan to pick up your chair on-site. You won't be able to pick-up your chair without the distributor releasing the information to us.
how do i know it's safe to use my credit card to buy an era office chair?
Like with any other purchase, do your due diligence. Make sure you’re buying on a safe, reputable site and that you’re purchasing an authentic ERA Office Chair made in the USA. All of our authorized distributors sell on safe sites. If it looks like ERA but doesn't say ERA, it's an imposter! Be weary!
i just purchased my era office chair. when i can i expect it to arrive?
First of all, congratulations! You'll soon be enjoying maximum comfort. Each chair is handcrafted at the time of purchase and made just for you. Because of this, our chairs generally take around 10-15 business days to ship, and all chairs ship from California. Transit times across the USA can vary from 1-7 business days depending on your location.
how do i care for my era office chair?
Similar to a high-end vehicle, regular maintenance of an ERA Office Chair is required to uphold the warranty. All moving parts must be kept well oiled/greased, and upholstery must be cleaned regularly to uphold the warranty and extend the life of the chair. If you don’t keep your chair in good shape, we won’t cover fixing it.
something isn't working on my chair. what do i do?
Contact your distributor and describe the issue. Be sure to include photos to better diagnose the problem. Likely, you’ll be shipped a replacement part with instructions on how to replace the part. Each case is different and is handled as such.
i want to return my era office chair. what do i do?
Contact the distributor from where you purchased the chair to set up the return. You may responsible for return shipping, handling, and/or restocking fees. Be sure the chair is in original condition, in the original box, and you haven’t had it for more than 14 days, or else the return will not be accepted under any circumstances.
