Synchro-Tilt Control Mechanism

A key component of each ERA Office Chair is the durable Synchro-tilt mechanism. This mechanism allows users to lock the chair upright, or to freely recline the chair in a rocking chair-like seat. These are known as the task and managerial positions, respectively. The amount of tension that the chair pushes back on you when reclining is adjustable, for users who want different levels of tension. This mechanism also controls the pneumatic gas lift. This Synchro-tilt type of motion allows the body to open up as the user reclines, more closely mimicking the natural pivot points of the human body.  A synchronous tilt motion provides more balanced support throughout the entire range of recline for a user.
